  1. Food vouchers remain available for children who receive free school meals. Please also contact the Greenwich Foodbank to either get help or give help. 

During the current emergency Greenwich Foodbank has suspended all of our client centres. We have introduced a delivery system which will take food to the client’s doorstep. We have also introduced a new referral system to all of the agencies that normally make referrals. We expect to deliver one or two days after the referral is received.

  1. Elysia Catering 

Elysia Catering offers a local delivery service by cargo bike. Orders can be placed online. Food is sourced from independent local food businesses. 

Open to those in Bermondsey, London Bridge and Peckham. Minimum order cost is £30 and there's an £8 delivery charge. Online payment only.

  1. Bell and Sons of Bermondsey 

Bell and Sons of Bermondsey offers a free delivery service to local residents on their electric cargo bike daily. You can purchase meat and produce with no delivery charge. Minimum £25 spend (payable by card over phone or upon delivery). Online booking. 

  1. Manna Centre 

Manna Centre offers a takeaway meal provision with free takeaway dinners, mainly for homeless people. Self-referral.

  1. Surrey Docks Farm 

Surrey Docks Farm offers a grocery collection service. Farm shop products can be ordered online and collected in person. Products include frozen sausages, beef and pork cuts daily, eggs when available; and increasingly vegetables over the coming weeks. Collection open every morning from 11-11:30am. 

  1. New Covent Garden Market 

New Covent Garden Market offers a grocery delivery service. They will deliver fresh produce from the market to any London postcode. Items include vegetable and fruit boxes, milk and bread. Delivery cost is included in the price of the box (prices available on the website). There are nine different providers available through the site. See website for details of each provider. Online booking. 

  1. Crosstown Doughnuts 

Crosstown Doughnuts offers a food box delivery scheme, available to those living in zones 1-4. Boxes include essentials such as vegetables, milk, eggs, bread and also doughnuts. Vegan box available. Open 7 days a week, early until late. 

  1. Natoora 

Natoora offers a food delivery app, initially designed for chefs, but now available to everyone. High quality food products. Delivery to zones 1-4, Teddington, Kingston upon Thames and Twickenham. Booking via the app. Next day delivery, Monday to Saturday. 

  1. Turnips 

Turnips is a fruit and vegetable retailer partnering with other Borough Market retailers (Furness Fish and Bread Ahead) operating a home grocery delivery service. Choose your own products or select one of their ready made box offers. Orders to be emailed at the latest of 12pm the day before delivery. Minimum order of £40 and delivery charge is currently £5. 

Home deliveries on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Open to local residents - email or call to check if they can deliver to you.

What to do if you’re concerned about someone’s welfare 

  • If you believe a vulnerable adult, child or young person is in immediate danger then you should call 999 straight away
